Activations

Festivals & Events

BAD has initiated music, art and culture festivals and events staged across the Brookvale Arts District precinct. The BAD team actively works to encourage new collaborations, while mixing up creativity and technology with engaging programs of art, music, vibrancy, well-being and learning. BAD also collaborates in partnership with other Brookvale stakeholders from the arts, industry and entertainment sectors to activate various local festivals and events.

BAD Poster

An exhibition series of interactive artworks presented as large-scale street posters and paste-ups in venues and public spaces throughout Brookvale Arts District. Each exhibition features local and international artists in year-round activations. Interactive layers in each artwork can be accessed via a mobile device.

BAD Walls

BAD Walls is transforming Brookvale into an outdoor art gallery and landmarked urban space. The project is designed to spark creativity, connection and a sense of belonging, while providing way-finding landmarks for art lovers and visitors to the precinct.

The Residency

A collaboration with Westfield Warringah Mall to activate un‑used spaces with creative residencies, pop-up studios and galleries. Promoting local artists and making their work more accessible to the public.
